Front Walkway Design by Michael Glassman & Associates At Michael Glassman & Associates, we have just finished an amazing Front Walkway Design that shows unparalleled quality and innovative solutions in landscape design. Located in the beautiful Greater Sacramento area, we transformed a typical approach to the home into a functional and appealing walkway that increases curb appeal. The walkway features beautiful natural stone pavers and decorative gravel that were carefully selected for durability and visual appeal. We designed the walkway using native drought-resistant shrubs and ornamental grasses along the edges to work with the hardscape and be sustainable. The soft warm earth tone selected for the material palette works with the existing architecture to add a seamless transition from the architecture to garden. The primary challenge for this job involved the hilly topography of the property. Our professional team was able to gracefully grade the land for proper drainage as well as a slope and maintain a beautiful walkway. The slope of the walkway prevents standing water and makes it more enjoyable for everyone to access year-round. The final product is a beautifully intimate approach to the home that invites guests to explore the luscious garden behind. The client was very pleased with the final design's balance of beauty and functionality. We were excited the outcome as it increased the overall experience of their exterior living space and represented our dedication to creating outdoor living spaces that evoke a sense of joy and serenity.
