Secret Sanctuary Garden by Ketti Kupper Conscious Life Design Located in Pasadena's quiet suburbs, the 'Secret Sanctuary Garden' exemplifies Ketti Kupper Conscious Life Design's commitment to service excellence in the landscape sector. With a design that is intended to meet the needs and tastes of a discriminating client, the retreat is an oasis of calm sophistication and serves as an extension of its natural setting. Plants create unmistakable pathways with curated native plants that enhance biodiversity and provide sustainability. There are rich textures from using nature and a diversity of delightful perennials, rich green herbs and sculptural succulents. Use of locally sourced stone enhances the addition of an organic element and provides warmth. In transforming a sloped and unused backyard space into a fully integrated functional space, the had a big design challenge, it was a delight for Ketti Kupper and the team. The design team created tiered terraces that reached into every bit of the usable space and reporposed the use of drought-tolerant planting suited to the California climate. The deeply calming waterfeature, highlighted by the slow dribble of a small waterfall and moving water, invites in nearby birds and insects for enjoyment and additional interest to the secret setting. The end is a beautifying landscape with outdoor spaces with options for utilization, restorative moments have cozy beds within the lush green plants and warm seating. At the end of the the happy client provided tears expressing she now had a pleasant and peacefilled yard landscape, that excited her and her family to wander and play within. Ketti Kupper has once again hinted on yet another marriage of art with functional and safe landscapes that provide visions to the client while honoring the environment. This exemplifies sustainable practices blended with outstanding quality, that provides inspiration to pursue a more environmentally, sustainable area in the greater Los Angeles region.
