Cobble Stone by Magee Design Magee Design is excited to share 'Cobble Stone' - a gorgeous that blends both function and beauty. Located in Aldie, VA, this expansive landscaping showcases Magee site quality, and craftsmanship to homeowners throughout the Ashburn, Leesburg and Purcellville areas. Cobble Stone features a beautiful cobblestone driveway that winds through carefully groomed gardens creating a welcoming arrival. Our team chose nice, locally sourced cobblestones that added character to the property and would hold up to the elements. The detailed workmanship of the cobblestones was designed to relacion with the modern architectural style of the home and to give a sense of timelessness. One unique factor of this was the slope of the property. So we developed a grading solution to prevent water pooling and make sure adequate drainage was addressed. Our experienced team developed a complex drainage solution that blended in to the landscape without taking away from the natural vegetation of the area. As mentioned, the included a full design of native plants selected for their resiliency and low maintenance. Native plants provide biodiversity in the landscape and allow for color and texture throughout the season. General, beautifully designed stone pathways lead to an intimate seating area with custom benches and a fire pit great for family gatherings or quiet evenings under the stars. The end product was a beautiful flowing landscape which met the client's vision and expectations. Cobble Stone reflects the spirit of Magee in excellence, artistry, and detail. The client absolutely loves their new outdoor space - a shared living area that has multiple components to create a relaxing and functional escape for their lifestyle.
