About This Project

Hamilton Chimney The 'Hamilton Chimney' , beautifully executed by Magee Design, is a remarkable example of our dedication to quality and innovative design in landscapes. Located in the charming neighborhood of Hamilton, this converted a previously underused exterior area into a magical space that was compatible with nature. It all started with our team doing a full site analysis, studying its topography and existing plants. This design showcases a selection of native plants, ornamental grasses, and seasonal plants that not only enhance the visual appeal but also promote local biodiversity. We incorporated high-quality materials, such as natural stone pathways and custom-built retaining walls, which will properly endure the environment and integrate naturally into the landscape. One of the most significant challenges of this was dealing with the uneven slope of the area; there was lots of precise grading and drainage work to be done. Our team engineered an effective drainage system that manages the water runoff while maintaining a pleasant garden environment. The centerpiece of this was the striking handcrafted stone chimney, with an attached fire pit, as a place for people to gather and enjoy the evenings together under the stars. In the end, our client provided a wonderful affirmation of our work - that they were surprised how wonderful their garden could be! The juxtaposition of beauty and functionality has created an inviting outdoor space for their family and friends.
