Presentation: Menlo Park Life The Garden Route Company is excited to unveil 'Menlo Park Life', an impactful landscaping aimed to improve the aesthetic appeal and functionality of a private property in Menlo Park. The Garden Route Company built a plan based on the client’s aspirations for the as carefully as possible, while keeping in consideration the surrounding environment. The featured a carefully crafted palette of native plants that have proven resilient and require little maintenance. The client enjoyed a delightful mix of colorful perennials, ornamental grasses, and drought-tolerant shrubs that thrive well in the local climate, as well as attracting pollinators for our environment. We plan for our design to be accessible through custom stone paths made of locally sourced flagstone, allowing the home and landscape to blend well together. Our great challenge was the varied topography of the property; however, our talented landscapers terraced the garden beds expertly, maximizing the drainage and soil health, while also forming beautiful tiers to explore as one walks through the garden. We included a soothing water feature which gently cascades and creates pleasant sounds, further establishing a peaceful outdoor environment. Complementing the water feature, we prepared a lovely and stylish gravel patio for casual gatherings, as well as an outdoor solution of seating made from reclaimed locally sourced wood. Menlo Park Life is a demonstration of the quality of craftsmanship and attention to we believe in. The results are an extravagant, lush oasis that compliments the home’s extraordinary architecture, as well as a sustainable, functional, enjoyable landscape for the family to engage with all year round. The smiles and compliments from our clients confirmed our success, and highlighted the importance of The Garden Route Company to create beautiful landscaping for your life.
