Mid Century Revival in San Francisco GARDEN ROUTE COMPANY is proud to present, San Francisco Mid Century Revival, another beautiful landscape was done by rethinking the blend of modern sensibilities with mid-century design aesthetic. Right in the heart of San Francisco, the was completed with exquisite planning, skillful building to create a fresh outdoor space in a personal landscape design style unique to the home. The included the efforts of blending a number of native California plants, all of which have been selected to not only benefit our environment, but to also require minimal maintenance. We selected a variety of drought tolerant species that include California lilacs and manzanitas No Cape wildflowers provides not only full color, but an opportunistic area to attract local wildlife. Further, the application of the natural stone pathways from a local large scale granite provider, provides an added textural treat that offsets the lush greenery while providing a commercial pathway to help guide visitors through the lush garden as it flows naturally. Out of the extremely important challenges our team overcame, there is the historicaldifficulties of navigating the slope of the property with our design aesthetics. We addressed this slope by creating tiered garden beds from materials that include reclaimed wood and natural stone; this resulted in a visually stunning landscape that also made the most of available space while improving accessibility. With regards to the San Francisco microclimate, we proposed a wide-ranging integrated irrigation plan that included a drip system that will ultimately provide the garden the greatest opportunities to thrive with the needs of the individual plants. We showcased our commitment to crafting high-quality outdoor spaces through the custom built seating areas that invite you to sit and relax, or lighting areas that highlighted the new garden at night - relaxing in style! In the end, our client was so pleased we had three jobs with them at the completion of the , showcasing the practical benefits to them personally and providing outwardly facing space for friends and family to enjoy and gather. The newly designed garden stands as a precedent for the many outdoor oases transformation we can conceptualize.
