The Garden Route Company is a Landscape Design professional based in San Francisco, CA, serving Portola Valley, Montara, Palo Alto, Los Altos, San Francisco, Moss Beach, Woodsi....

We want to create sustainable dynamic outdoor spaces that will invite you out of your house and into nature. We strive for landscapes that are built to last and timeless. Alan Bowers, who co-owned The Garden Route Company, also founded the business in 2000 in partnership with Richard Radford and Sandy Ayers, and created unconventional sites throughout California and beyond. The Garden Route Co offers an end to end design/build service from idea onset through to installation and ongoing garden care services, as licensed Landscape Architects and Contractors. The Garden Route Co has won many of the landscape design and construction industry most prestigious awards including 2011, 2010 two years in a row, Best of Show at The SF Flower and Garden Show (2010, 2011) & 2015 Gold Garden Creator Award as well as the CLCA 2015 Best Contractor/Builder Award. We are also proud to be the first recipients of the Garden Conservancy Award and Gachina Sustainability Award.
