Garza Concepts is thrilled to share the completed construction of our recent landscaping , 'Sketching', which has completely transformed the outdoor living space of our client in the Palm Desert. This special was designed to connect with the surrounding desert environment while creating an inviting oasis for recreation, relaxation, and social gatherings. The design concept began with an extensive site evaluation, where our team identified some key considerations in the design, which would soon serve to inform the aesthetics and function of the landscaping. Notably, we had to mitigate the site's drought conditions and rocky soils. We encountered no restrictions to task due to our skilled landscapers, who strategically introduced functional, drought-tolerant plants that also brought beautiful colors to the space. This included the implementation of succulents and agaves, typical to the desert setting. The 's success was contingent upon high-quality materials. We chose natural stone that served as hardscaping elements of the , resulting in a hardscape and patio that would wear gracefully over time, while also being pleasant to gather on. The custom-created seating areas provide comfort, while inviting the surrounding views of the mountains. Our team also installed a custom-built water feature, creating gentle sounds, and attracting wildlife in the area. The conclusion result is a gorgeous landscape that reflects what our client expected. The seemingly effortless blending of when flora, textured hardscape elements, and functional outdoor spaces, worked together to create a visual, representative of a true sanctuary. Our client expressed great joy in the results, stating that 'Sketching' became their favorite site to retreat, as well as host family and friends.
