Wanderland by Plant Man Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, 'Wanderland' is a beautiful landscaping produced by Plant Man, a premier landscaping company servicing surrounding communities, such as Fairview, Harrisburg, and Matthews. A typical backyard was turned into a lush and comforting oasis that incorporates nature and functionality. The consists of a beautiful collection of native plants chosen for their aesthetic appeal and their sustainable qualities. A beautiful mix of perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs were used to provide beauty all year and promote local diversity. An incredibly calming water feature, complete with a waterfall and koi pond were installed by our professional team. Each element works together to promote an overall relaxing space for consideration and mindfulness. One of the major challenges that we faced was the slope of the yard that initially created a water runoff problem. We decided to solve the problem with a terracing system, using natural stone and timber to create beautiful levels while also moving water. The terracing not only solved the water runoff problem, it created scenery and texture to the yard. A reclaimed brick trail leads the visitor in and through the gardens, winding as multiple seating areas are revealed at each turn. The seating area is comfortable and designed for both relaxation as well as socialization, enabling the clients to truly use their outdoor space. 'Wanderland' turned out beautifully exceeding our clients expectations with their new sanctuary, and we an thrilled with the overall execution of the . Innovative design, quality materials, and craftsmanship created an inviting experience that reflects the vision of the homeowners, while providing beauty to the surrounding neighborhood.
