Artificial Boulder Steps-Fire Pit-Retaining Wall from Plant Man Recently, Plant Man completed a stunning landscaping in the heart of Charlotte that skillfully incorporates aesthetics with utility: the Artificial Boulder Steps, Fire Pit, and the Retaining Wall. Intended to deepen our customer’s outdoor living space, this involved designed boulder steps that lead down to a fire pit, perfect for evening conversations while enjoying a clear view of the stars. The boulder steps are made of fieldstone from a neighboring quarry, designed and built based on aesthetic and durability to withstand the elements that give safe access to yard levels. The steps are placed in a manner that directs guests naturally through the landscape while synchronizing adjacently to the surrounding yards. Next to the steps is a gorgeous fire pit with comfortable seating around that promotes relaxation and converses. The fire pit is also made of matching stone with four-season modern-day gas ignition that cleans easily and allows for many memories of evenings spent together. To finalize the structural and aesthetic integrity of the space, our company built a retaining wall. This wall is also made of the same high materials of the steps and the fire pit, to look good proposing functionality in controlling soil erosion and flat usable areas for planting color. While planning the , we encountered uneven terrain in addition to the existing vegetation. The needed planning to avoid the challenges while being imaginative. However, the innovation of Plant Man successfully surpasses the challenges of the terrain and the existing plants, while appeasing the functional elements of the and design aesthetics.
