About This Project

Lakeside Lodge Home by Pellettieri Associates, Inc. The 'Lakeside Lodge Home' landscaping along the banks of a beautiful lake was designed by Pellettieri Associates, Inc. The goal was to enhance the existing charm of the property while working with all that the lakeside environment provides. This serves the Andover and Boscawen communities and present a unique effort in a collaborative . Planting consideration had to include native plantings to assure sustainability and low maintenance. Using layers of ornamental grasses, perennials, and a few trees to create privacy where needed, we built a landscape that allowed for views of the the peaceful water, while chooseing colors for the plantings that blended well with existing home colors and textures. Custom paths, made of local granite were created to navigate through the spaces and connect further with nature. Drainage was a large concern, so a rain garden at the front of the home would help capture runoff and encourage function and hold for the surrounding ecosystem. Boulders and natural rock formations were included to help provide stability against the eroding condition of the slopes. The result is a lovely space that brings the rustic design of a lakeside lodge and here the home is. When seeing the final result, the client expressed excitement with the fine of the and the way they all worked together to enhance the overall experience of the home.
