Cook Stations and Outdoor Grilling by Graham Kimak Landscape Designs Situated among the mountains and landscapes of Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina, Graham Kimak Landscape Designs is excited to showcase our Cook Stations and Outdoor Grilling. Our coupled functional and aesthetic aspects to turn a boring backyard into a culinary area for entertaining family and friends in the beautiful outdoors. The design included custom outdoor cooking stations made with high quality durable materials, such as natural stone and weather resistant stainless steel. These materials ensured durable quality while still providing a beautiful contrasting finish to the surrounding green area. The outdoor cooking stations are highlighted by a custom built grill, prep area, and bar area for social interaction. The site, while having several beautiful features, presented a challenge for our team in relation to existing conditions and the grading of the property. Ultimately we created and leveled the area and the slopes and tiers for use, accessibility, and flow. We also incorporated a designated area for seating with comfortable, weatherproof furniture and fire pit to create a year-round and relaxing place. Ultimately, the process resulted in a beautiful outdoor kitchen area with the functional uses and aesthetic quality. The client was very pleased with the final result, and identified spaces of cooking and gathering to allow themselves to enjoy that space as a part of their outdoor lifestyle.
