Vancouver Backyard Retreat Drake's 7 Dees Landscaping & Garden Center is proud to announce completion of the Vancouver Backyard Retreat, an elegant outdoor space transformed into the perfect sanctuary for relaxing and entertaining. A showcase of creativity and craftsmanship, this is placed beautifully in the natural environment of Vancouver, Washington. This oasis includes beautifully selected native plants and landscaping that complements its natural environment. One notable feature is the beautiful custom stone patio, which uses basalt from local sources and provides an attractive and functional base for anything that you'd like to do outdoors. To compliment the patio, we added a rustic fire pit with seating around it where romantic evenings can be spent by the stars. Another challenge was the slope of the land that changes at certain points of the . This space is packed with GREEN, retaining walls designed with weathered granite defined the space and prevents soil erosion, well executed by our ever skilful team. This not only made the landscaping look more beautiful, but also made it very stable in the long term. We also added a bubbling water feature to the garden bringing a sense of calmness as it mimics natures calling sound. The soothing sound of running water attracts local wildlife and adds to the outdoor experience. And finally, an exquisitely designed lighting system showcases the beauty of a well planned landscape at night, so the client can take advantage of their backyard oasis at any time of day. The end product of the Vancouver Backyard Retreat was beyond what our client thought possible: a backyard oasis of beauty, and in this case, functionality. This exemplifies Drake's 7 Dees Landscaping & Garden Center's commitment to designing and building beautiful landscapes that create an outdoor experience our clients dreamed of, with a perfect entertaining atmosphere encapsulated in the design. After hosting gatherings and spending tranquil afternoons contemplating, this retreat has become an integral extension of their home.
