Half of Backyard Renovation by Moda Outdoor Living | Lena Ave, West Hills Here at Moda Outdoor Living, we love converting outdoor spaces into beautiful little getaways, and our latest on Lena Ave of West Hills showcases our dedication to quality and creativity. Inspired by the homeowner's vision of a serene and functional oasis, this entire backyard remodel has everything you could want. We started with a vigorous site analysis that dissected the barriers presented by the site, ly, the sloping site and lack of sunlight. To overcome these challenges we implemented tiered landscaping which not only helps the garden look good but it also helps us maximise the use of space and also get proper drainage. Porcelain paving slabs create a beautiful area for outdoor dining and entertainment. A custom-built pergola covered in climbing vines, providing shade and ambiance, beautifully accompanies the patio. An outdoor kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and granite counter top, perfect for serving famly and friends. To add even more to the space, we included plush, drought-resistant plants that we have chosen for their nice colors and low maintenance properties. California lilac and agave are among the native species strategically planted throughout the site to provide balance and help encourage natural biodiversity. This was finished with a beautiful water feature, and not only is this a statement piece in its own right, but the sound from the moving water also adds another avenue of sound to aid restfulness. The result is a stunning, functional backyard that perfectly invokes the surrounding natural beauty for which the client is thrilled as it elevates their outdoor living experience.
