Front Garden Design by SHC Nursery & Landscape Co. At SHC Nursery & Landscape Co., we have an appreciation for creating beautiful outdoor environments. Our recent , ‘Front Garden Design,’ located in the town of Eagle, showcases our emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction. This serves our clients in Eagle, Edwards, Wolcott, Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon, Gypsum, and Eagle-Vail using sustainable plants that fit the aesthetic. To include mixed native plants that grow well together, we incorporated vibrant perennials, minimal maintenance shrubs, and ornamental grasses; all which create a visually appealing tapestry of plants to provide color, and texture throughout the year. Natural pathways and decorative boulders keep with the rustic feel while lending structure to the garden and creating context to the native planting. One of the -challenges of this focused on the slope of the front yard, which needed appropriate drainage and soil retention. Our knowledgeable team used terracing techniques with locally sourced stone to create a tiered garden that allowed for distinction between planting zones and retained soil to prevent erosion. This thoughtful, site-sensitive design maximized usable space while welcoming aesthetic elements. The resulting space is a beautiful front garden that fits the architecture of the home while gardening to the landscape. The combination of color and texture provides an inviting first impression to all of the guests or passers-by. The clients were delighted with the transformation, and enjoyed how it transformed their yard - enhanced curb appeal while providing tranquility.
