Multilevel Garden Design by SHC Nursery & Landscape Co In the beautiful landscapes of Colorado, SHC Nursery & Landscape Co is excited to present a 'Multilevel Garden Design' that they recently completed with a wonderful client located in Eagle, Colorado. This involved transforming a steep slope into a beautiful multilevel garden that incorporates creativity, aesthetics, and function among the surrounding beautiful nature. The design included an elaborate series of terraces made from natural stone native to the area to provide structural stability while also offering an organic look to blend beautifully with the mountainside. Each terrace offered its unique plant palette, using native plant species such as colorful wildflowers, tough shrubs, and ornamental grasses, selected by us for confirmative growth in Colorado's climate. We included excellent soil amendments to enhance growth, and we implemented a drip irrigation system to conserve water. One of the most prominent challenges we faced, as it related to the installation of stone steps into the steep slope and ensure functionality while developing a space that looked pleasing to the eye. Our team of experts worked diligently to engineer a series of stone steps, guiding visitors along a lush stairway of color and scent with colorful blooms and wonderfully smelling herbs. This improved the functionality and added an overall nice experience through the landscape. The overall deliverable was a beautiful multilevel garden space that not only met the client's functional needs but also provided peaceful respite for enjoyment. With seating areas, boulders, and low-voltage lights introduced to development and enhance the curb appeal, the space was a beautiful getaway in nature by day or night.
