Four Seasons Garden Center and Custom Landscape exemplified our commitment to quality and thoughtful execution through this ambitious , which transformed a residential backyard space into another independent entity. The began with a thorough site evaluation to understand the existing site’s challenges, including dealing with an uneven grade and a poor drainage situation. We detail-designed the tiered landscape to incorporate natural stone patios and pathways into the landscape around them. We suggested the locally sourced bluestone for their durable surface and longevity, along with the architectural aesthetics they provide to the existing home. The features an outdoor kitchen with a professional stainless-steel appliance package and a custom granite countertop, which is great for entertaining and sitting with friends all year long. Strategic plantings of ornamental grasses and flowering perennials were added throughout the space for bright color and textural elements to promote native wildlife. We featured full-spectrum LED light installations throughout to illuminate paths and highlight design features in the back yard and throughout the home. There were several intentional design aspects employed for this to maintain site elements that would enhance the overall design rather than remove them altogether, best exemplified by the existing trees on site. The site evaluation was paramount to preserve several mature trees existing on site as a part of the new landscaping, rather than remove them, which only adds to the character of the property. The final result was an outdoor oasis that surpassed the customer’s expectations. The customer now has a space that brings family and friends together for rest and relaxation, while inviting nature into their own backyard.
