COUNTRY SWIM by Duke's Landscape Company Located in a beautiful setting in Evergreen, Colorado, the COUNTRY SWIM represents Duke's Landscape Company's goal in providing stunning outdoor space experiences. This comprehensive landscape includes a modern in-ground swimming pool with well-designed hardscapes and planting that make for a really nice gathering space, relaxation, or just a nice hang-out space. The began with the site topography and drainage review, in order to create a facility (the pool and its surrounding landscape) that fit with the land. The initial approach to the site presented multiple challenges regarding existing conditions and local ordinances. Duke's Landscape Company researched and applied for procedures to move the pool location while accommodating local ordinances and the existing site condition. This included making finishes, from natural stone coping, a significant feature in the overall design based on its surrounding area aesthetic. The centerpiece of the COUNTRY SWIM design is by far the large deck, which is made of composite material, which can withstand the weather and give it a warm and inviting area, both for sunbathing and informal crowd housing. Maine also added incremental LED lighting in some decks and rails to enrich the space even further in the evening hours, and again give the space even more inviting recreation option of night swimming. Duke's used readily available native plants and low-maintenance shrubs, that love Colorado weather, to increase the oasis aesthetics throughout the landscape into the next great time of year to add color to the area, with added colors when snow falls. Duke's also added a comfort soundscapes, with the water feature, as the light fixture provides a nice reflection off the glass. The was pleasing to both our clients, and to Duke's Landscape Company, exceeding their wishes and hopes to contribute to a simple back yard to an enjoyable resort area.
