The design vision on “NAPA DREAM” was to blend nature with function. The involves a breathtaking stone terrace made from local flagstone that gives clients a durable surface to entertain and relax, without compromising aesthetics. Attached to the terrace is an outdoor kitchen a functional aspect of the terrace - featuring a grill and ample counter space to indulge in eating and drinking outside among the native scenery. One of the most difficult aspects of the is to consider the steep site, which requires creative landscape design. Our team built a range of low retaining walls of reclaimed wood and stone boulders to control the slope while adding personality to the site. Tiered gardens were created using native plants that flourish in the local climate, promoting biodiversity and improvement of maintenance. To enhance visual appeal year-round, we added a variety of flowers, ornamental grasses, and evergreen shrubs, giving potency of color and texture. The focal point of the garden is a tranquil water feature, created to mimic the sound of a natural stream, enriching the wildlife opportunity and inviting relaxation to the site. Over the course of the , the end-result exceeded the client’s expectations, turning their backyard into a refined oasis that represents the natural beauty of the Napa Valley.
