### Carmel Mountain, San Diego Quetzal Landscapes, Inc. is proud to showcase the incredible transformation of a residential property in Carmel Mountain, San Diego. This exemplifies our commitment to quality and innovation in landscape design and installation, servicing the diverse communities of Southern California, Corronado, La Jolla, and Rancho Santa Fe. This began with a comprehensive consultation to gather the client's vision and preferences. Our team encountered unique challenges along the way, including the steep slope of the hillside with a rocky terrain and limited access to the site. To combat this challenge, our team utilized advanced grading techniques and technologies to establish a level basis for our design but maintained the integrity of the landscape. The features a beautiful outdoor living space that enhances function and aesthetics. The outdoor living space includes a custom built stone patio using natural flagstone from local quarries. The stone offers a durable surface for gatherings and an enticing appearance. The area around the patio is planted with an array of native plants that are drought-tolerant and includes succulent plants and ornamental grasses; this provides a reflection of one-of-a-kind native plant species while minimizing water. The dry-stacked retaining wall made from reclaimed wood and natural stone adds a rustic effect and provides hillside drainage maintaining erosion and an expected longevity. To improve the dazzling landscape, we provided energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the landscape allowing the clients some lighting for enjoying evenings. In the end, we created a desirable blend of nature and design beyond the client’s hopes. The picturesque landscape is exceptional for the property’s curb appeal and family gathering of socializing.
