### San Diego, Spring Valley Retaining Wall Quetzal Landscapes, Inc. has elegantly completed a beautiful retaining wall in the peaceful neighborhood of Spring Valley, San Diego. This effort did not just beautify the property, and also solved some critical soil erosion issues that equally assured the overall stability of the landscape itself. The included building a strong, multi-tiered retaining wall that matched the natural topography perfectly. We used great quality materials such as locally-source granite stones and reinforced concrete to create a strong wall that not only worked as intended, but looked amazing. The selection of materials provided both a rustic, charming look while also ensuring the wall would withstand the San Diego climate and weather in the Pacific Southwest. One particular challenge at the site was the steep slope of the , forcing our design and engineering teams to construct proper drainage to do away with the water behind the wall. Quetzal Landscapes, Inc. team made sure to account for drainage and water with a substantial system to move the water away from the wall, while also assuring the landscape around the wall perform as desired. Ultimately an awesome keeping wall was constructed that added not only value to the property but also the ability to use the space to enjoy the outdoors. The clients were thrilled with the wall resolving their erosion issues and its role in the garden.
