A dramatic garden transformation that invites nature and sophistication to co-exist, the expansive residential landscape managed balanced combinations of contemporary design with native ingredients that shows our commitment to quality and sustainability. We uniquely faced the challenge of producing an outdoor environment that would thrive in the climate of the Pacific Coast while also enhancing the existing topography of the lot. We included beautiful drought-resistant plants, which included colorful succulents and fragrant herbs, which would thrive in local microclimates, and landscaped areas with minimal maintenance. Natural stone walkways and retaining walls made of locally-generated materials contributed to an overall cohesive feeling back to the landscape with all the hardscapes introduced. The highlight of the includes custom water features that provide evocative intimacy for the landscape. A scenic koi pond sits centrally located in the garden, surrounded by lush plantings to provide charming sanctuary to the homeowners. Additionally, an outdoor entertaining area with a rustic pergola and built-in seating has been constructed with a purchased built-in fireplace to provide enjoyment of sunsets with family and friends. Along the 's duration, our experienced team overcame a few logistical challenges; installing an irrigation system typical to the needs of a parsed plant palette, while conjointly manage to create a unified design element.
