'Stone' by D-CRAIN Design and Construction The 'Stone' is located in the center of West Lake Hills and is it an example of the artistry and craftsmanship D-CRAIN Design and Construction is known for in the Austin area. It was an expansive landscaping that took an ordinary backyard into an extraordinary outdoor space while combining natural stone with plant material. The began with a thorough site assessment to analyze the contours of the property and the existing vegetation. We selected local quarried limestone and granite boulders to create an aesthetically pleasing stone path that comfortably meanders through the garden. Not only did this path provide access, but it also provided an invitation to discover the garden. One of the major challenges was to minimize the slope of the property. Our innovative team constructed terraced gardens to address drainage issues while bringing dimension and interest to the area. Each terraced garden featured native plants, which are sustainable and offer easy maintenance. The central feature of this gathering area was a natural stone fire pit, which was warm and inviting for family and friends to enjoy their evenings under the stars. Our focus on quality was apparent throughout the . Each stone was individually selected for its texture and color to complement the surrounding landscape. Importantly, the final appearance exceeded all expectations and significantly increased the overall value of the property. The 'Stone' exemplifies D-CRAIN's commitment to landscaping excellence. Our client was thrilled with the transformation of the space and noted how the space had become a new retreat for rest and relaxation. This not only showcases the company's expertise in the design of landscaping but also our creative challenges were executed into a visual reality that celebrates Austin's natural beauty.
