/ A Blade of Grass Winter Decorations / Here at A Blade of Grass we just finished a beautiful winter decorations that turned our client’s backyard into a beautiful winter oasis. We brought these warm, charming, natural elements to the colder months with a design we crafted to echo the charred porches of the heart of autumn, serving the lush communities of Acton, Belmont, and elsewhere. The first step in our process was to select quality evergreen trees or shrub material that would primarily make up the structure of the landscape. These were draped with blinking LED lights that sprinkled magical light across the property in the dark of winter nights. We added natural decorations as well: sprigs of holly, arrangements of pinecones scattered throughout the garden beds to create that holiday feel. Our planters are made from biodegradable burlap, which is still aesthetically pleasing yet sustainable and eco-friendly. The single greatest challenge was the winter weather, which could have prevented the installation from proceeding on schedule. Despite these conditions our team was able to successfully manage and respond to them through strategic planning and timing between when things were installed or set up and advising how to prepare for strong winds or rain to ensure all elements could be secured and positioned to face the weather safely. We ended up with a stunning final product. Needless to say, the client was thrilled with the results, their home now exuding cheer and holiday spirit, ready to welcome family and friends to enjoy all the time of the season. Not only did people rave how visually beautiful it was, but the carefulness in adding low maintenance features so that the winter decor was beautiful all season with minimal upkeep. This , like all of our work at A Blade of Grass, is a testament to our uncompromising approach to quality, creativity, and client satisfaction and is an example of why we believe winter is a beautiful time of year in the landscapes we maintain throughout the Greater Boston area.
