The 'Poolside Pergola' is an elegant form of design built for a private house in the Minneapolis and St. Paul Metro area. This beautiful structure serves as a centerpiece within the context of the overall space, providing an element of function alongside aesthetic appeal. The began with an idea for a shaded area for the pool that would also provide an inviting space to enjoy and entertain. The pergola was designed by our team with deliberation, using the best quality of cedar wood that is weather resistant, durable, and provides the environment with a natural warmth, beauty, and kindness. The pergola was designed in an open lattice fashion in order to allow partial sunlight to shine through. One challenge in the was finding a way to integrate the pergola into the existing landscape without creating an awkward disruption in flow throughout the backyard. By considering the location of the pool and plant material within the landscape, it was easy to find a perfect fit without compromising the lush greenery of the space. Our team was also able to complete the build while adhering to local zoning regulations, and we accomplished all of these guidelines with safety and aesthetic in mind. The final product is a stunning pergola that will serve the owners' gatherings with family and allow for quiet afternoons. Below the beauty of the pergola, supplemented with climbing vines and warm ambient lighting adorned, the owners expressed their utmost satisfaction with how the was a perfect addition of beauty and purpose to their backyard experience.
