Notable Favorite Plant Palette Bethesda Garden Design LLC Bethesda Garden Design LLC presented its work related to the suburban backyard which has been specifically designed to be bright and welcoming in the 'Favorite Plant Palette' . In the center of Bethesda, this connected the natural beauty of the area with the clients desired color palette resulting in a tranquil outdoor escape. A variety of native and adapted plant materials with seasonal interest, durability and low maintenance are illustrated in the landscape. We included a variety of brightly colored perennials, including coneflowers and daylilies, along with a mix of herbs for fragrance and ornamental grasses to provide visual interest and sustenance for pollinators throughout the year. The property was challenging with very uneven ground and we had to get innovative with the design to ensure it all flowed properly. We have a skilled team that designed tiered garden beds with natural stone retaining walls, strengthening the integrity and aesthetics of the landscape. Using materials from nearby not only further reduced the environmental footprint, but ensured that everything fit into the surrounding environment. The finished product is a verdant, layered blanket that flows between patio and garden. The space opens up to visitors as they mold their own path along a meandering trail of re-used bricks, encouraging exploration and communion with nature. Featured planned spots to spend time admiring the beautifully curated plantings that surrounded the property with integrated custom seating areas. The pleased client thanked us for the effort and teamwork in designing the beautiful facade that suits with their vibe as well as making the most of their outdoor living! The is a great example of Bethesda Garden Design LLC's work based on craftsmanship and green landscaping for the Bethesda, Chevy Chase, DC, North Chevy Chase, South Kensington, and Washington communities.
