Container Gardens by Earth Songs Gardening At Earth Songs Gardening, we recently finished an exciting landscaping called ‘Container Gardens’ that used plants and flowers to enhance outdoor spaces for our clients in the beautiful mountain communities of Avon, Beaver Creek, Edwards, Minturn, Red Cliff, Vail, Wolcott, Arrowhead, Bachelor Gulch, Mountain Star, Red Sky, and Singletree. The Container Gardens encompassed the selection and installation of different types of container gardens that would fit the look and feel of each property and amplify the beauty of the area. We used the highest quality, garden particle-safe, weather-resistant materials to create the containers such as ceramic, fiberglass, and reclaimed wood. Each of the containers was filled with a medley of perennials, annuals, and ornamental grasses suited to create year-round interest and seasonal color. Among our big challenges during this was the sheer diversity of microclimates across the various locations. For instance, some patios in Vail had intense sun and needed plants that were drought tolerant and resilient, whereas some portions of Beaver Creek were very shady and would need plants that loved the shade while still being lush. As a team, we addressed these factors through listening, pre-site assessments, and plant selection at the actual site that allowed for the best outcome based on the specific circumstances. The end result of the was a phenomenal presentation of color and texture that not only contributed to the natural beauty of these properties, but also provided a welcoming environment for residents and guests alike. All of these clients were so pleased with their new outdoor living spaces and shared how the container gardens have enlivened their homes and encouraged outdoor living. This is an example of our commitment to quality in construction and a love of creating beautiful landscapes that reflect the majesty of Colorado's natural beauty.
