Lone Pine West | Zaremba & Company The Lone Pine West is Zaremba & Company second in the Oakland County area of the beautiful Detroit area, and right in the heart of Oakland. Location This high profile landscape was a full landscape remodel of an estate property where we were able to illustrate our design, build and sustainability capabilities. The native plants used in the complemented each other to create a vibrant and dense landscape flourishing with the local climate. Materials were thoughtfully chosen starting with natural stone paths and tailored cedar fences that add elegance as well as durability. An impressive water feature including a waterfall and koi pond was masterfully incorporated, creating a peaceful centerpiece and drawing in some local wildlife. The property itself has quite a bit of uneven land to deal with, which was also an added challenge for us. Our team did it professionally, graded the revel land, assured proper drainage but still keep the land contour. Taking that precaution not only prevented possible flooding problems, but also improved the appearance of the flow of the garden. The end result was a beautiful outdoor space that our clients were ecstatic with. That is now a space that, while functional, is also visually inviting with strategic seating areas and a fire pit that encourages them to spend time outdoors and spend time with friends and family at night, out under the stars. Located in the communities of Auburn Hills, Birmingham, and beyond, the Lone Pine West highlights the level of skill and craftsmanship Zaremba & Company provides on each endeavor.
