Modern Firepit and Kitchen by Premiere Landscape Design Premiere Landscape Design had the honor and opportunity to complete the 'Modern Firepit and Kitchen' in Virginia Beach, remaking an incredible unused backyard space into a beautiful outdoor retreat. Serving areas including Chesapeake, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Hampton, our staff was excited to bring the clients' hope of an incredible outdoor retreat to life! Taking up the space is a fabulous circular firepit built of natural stone surrounded by custom seating that encourages gathering with loved ones and staying warm. We installed a weather resistant durable paver patio to showcase the beauty of the landscaping, linking the firepit and an outdoor kitchen. The kitchen includes an outdoor grill, countertop of granite, storage cabinets and ample room to prepare food, all the ingredients for a great family gathering or a special dinner. One concern that we encountered in the design was leveling the yard with the unequally terrain of the space for water drainage. Our landscape team had to think forward grading and drainage to keep water from rising on the property. Utilizing great materials for building this was also tremendous in our thinking. We included permeable paver and native plants for our sustainable design. The clients ending experience with their end product was a love of the completed outdoor space with added outdoor lighting for ambience and flower landscape all enhancing the beauty and aesthetics of the home. Our job was not complete until our clients were in amazement of their new patio, firepit and kitchen. They were so thankful in our anticipation to detail and said the product was top-notch! Not only did their backyard provide an incredible outdoor living area, it increased the enhancement in value of the property! We believe the wonderful outdoor and kitchen experience captures the commitment to excellence of Premier Landscape Design.
