Client Story: Outdoor Living Spaces by Earth Design, Inc. More Earth Design, Inc specializes in turning average backyards into exciting outdoor living spaces. The outdoor living spaces that we just completed really highlight our work and services true to quality, creativity, and attention to detail that delivers to the clients of the blossoming communities of Dunean, Five Forks, Fountain Inn, Greenville, Greer, Mauldin, Parker, Piedmont, Powdersville, Sans Souci, Simpsonville, Taylors, Wade Hampton, Arial, Clemson, Easley, Liberty, Norris, Pickens, Six Mile, Sunset, and Greenville County. The scope of this started with creating a comfortable yet sharp-looking outdoor space. We had a slope to deal with, that we turned into a beautiful tiered garden. Retaining walls and paver patios using beautiful, high-quality natural stone not only look nice, but they will last forever and require very little upkeep. At the heart of this outdoor sanctuary is a hand-built pergola made from an organically/weather resistant wood (cedar). The structure offers plenty of shade for meals and easygoing afternoons, and with built-in LED lighting set-up, the outdoor space is also ideal for evening gatherings. Around the base of the pergola we implemented a diverse palette of native and perennial plant life suited for our climate to create a diverse and thriving landscape in all seasons. We also added a built-in fire pit with built-in seating for family and friends. We designed an invisible drainage system to carry water away from the interior dwelling so it can be preserved for years to come. We ended up with an absolutely stunning outdoor space that not only satisfied our clients but also gave them the ideal mix of both relaxation and entertainment. As ever, the attention to detail and considered approach served us well, delivering a that performed above and beyond expectation, leaving a legacy for the family to enjoy for many years.
