Makeover of Parkins Mill Landscape by Earth Design, Int. Earth Design, Inc. announces the visually outstanding Parkins Mill landscape transformation as another unique and creatively driven landscaping featuring impeccable earthworks to highlight garden aesthetics. Greenville, South Carolina This home away from the hustle and bustle of life and perfectly located in the middle of Greenville County was more of a blending of art and function, as it was rightfully embraced by its natural surroundings, creating an aesthetically welcoming outdoor living area for the homeowners themselves. The Parkins Mill renovation included various landscaping types such as an extensive palette of native plants with well-structured flower beds around the water feature which is the centerpiece of the garden. In addition to aesthetics, we chose durable, sustainable materials like path and decorative boulders, sourced locally from the Earth. This had two features with the most challenge, the most important been the improvement on existing levels and within the issue of drainage of the original landscape. We had the ground beautifully leveled and installed a great drainage system, so the plants are properly watered and will live for many years. We also designed a layered planting scheme combining a blend of perennials, shrubs, and ornamental grasses giving it interest in all four seasons. The end product is a beautiful vista that gently melds into the surrounding area putting the owners in their own backyard oasis. The clients were overjoyed with the results, and commended Earth Design for their attention to detail, and thoughtfulness built in to every aspect of the . Therefore, this renovation upgrade enhanced their home aesthetic addition and offered a welcoming open outdoor area to spend time with family or to unwind.
