We at Earth Design, Inc. wanted to share the latest landscape design , 'Vegetable and Herb Gardens design' to help create a better outdoor, sustainable living environment for your great communities of Dunean, Five Forks, Fountain Inn, Greenville, Greer, Mauldin, Parker, Piedmont, Powdersville, Sans Souci, Simpsonville, Taylors, Wade Hampton, Arial, Clemson, Easley, Liberty, Norris, Pickens, Six Mile, Sunset, and all of Greenville County. This was one of our ways to show our commitment and quality for the community. By working in close partnership with our clients to deliver a friendly and functional garden which not only looks dynamic but also delivers fresh produce at a doorstep. We used cedar wood for our aesthetic and durable raised garden beds. We had optimally placed the beds to get the most amount of sun while making sure they were accessible for maintenance and harvesting. In light of these local soil challenges, we developed a custom soil mix supplemented with organic compost and nutrients to support the growth of diverse vegetables & herbs. We also incorporated a water conserving drip irrigation system which keeps the soil consistently moist helping the plants thrive even through the long, dry summer months of Arizona. Woven throughout the organic vegetable patch are herb plants including basil, rosemary, and thyme, combined with veggies like tomatoes, peppers, and other leafy greens selected to be suited for planting next to each other and the successions through seasonal growth. A delightful stone path meanders through the garden, eventually opening up to a quaint seating space filled with native flowering plants, providing a peaceful atmosphere in which to lounge. The end product was fully functional vegetable and herb gardens which our clients were thrilled with, excited growing their own food. It was beautiful too but with that background helped them to become self-sufficient and more connected to nature.
