Bahamas Villa Hess Landscape Architects is thrilled to present the 'Bahamas Villa' , which features a beautiful renovation in the heart of Lansdale. This beautiful landscaping brings a taste of tropical living mixed with the local aesthetic, resulting in a relaxing outdoor oasis that showcases the allure of the Bahamas. This includes an exceptionally built terrace with a vibrant selection of drought-resistant plants, from colorful hibiscus to fragrant plumeria, which provides a lush backdrop throughout the year. Custom-designed stone pathways made from locally sourced natural stone meander through the landscaped garden to create the right durability while respecting the villa's architecture. A sparkling infinity pool dressed up with dark teak decking, and shaded by palm trees gives residents a place to enjoy warm sunshine while also creating some privacy. One of the major issues with this was the variation in topography of the site. Hess Landscape Architects managed these differences by creating tiered planting beds and retaining walls which improved drainage of the soil and stability, while simultaneously improving the aesthetics of the landscaping . The firm installed a self-detected and pressure-regulated irrigation system to keep the gardens healthy through dry spells. The end result, and the purpose of this , is a breathtaking dimension of landscaping that is not only visually attractive, but offers an enhanced outdoor living space. The client was excited the design and functionality of the space, seamlessly integrating nature with convenience, and having their outdoor spaces utilized as extra living space for entertaining friends and relaxing.
