Provence in Westchester by Pierce Hill Design, Ltd. Located in Westchester County, Pierce Hill Design, Ltd. presents 'Provence in Westchester,' an outdoor living that combines rustic touches with modern experiences. The crafted landscape evokes the French countryside with a rich palette of lavender fields, terracotta paths, and plotted garden beds. Locally-sourced stone was used for the dry-stack walls. Not only do they provide structural integrity, but their natural feel askingly blends with the site. A pergola designed to accommodate climbing wisteria creates a shaded retreat, while the site-appropriate Mediterranean plants provide colors and fragrances throughout the year. One of the most challenging aspects of the was targeting the sloping condition. With the knowledge of how to [re]grade the sloped condition and positioning plants accordingly, we designed a tiered garden area that is usable while respecting the natural condition. We created a stunning outdoor space that our clients were eager to use for relaxation and gatherings. The features unique water elements along with seating, creating majestic focal points to be enjoyed.
