Description: 'Secret Garden' by Pierce Hill Design, Ltd. Located in central Westchester County, Pierce Hill Design, Ltd. had the pleasure of taking an underperforming back garden and creating an enchanted outdoor experience that blends nature and artistry. We serve areas from Amawalk to Rye Brook, with an emphasis on building quality landscapes that anticipate the needs and wishes of our clients. Our included a selection of beautiful native plants, hand-selected for their colorful blooms and seasonal interest, illuminating the garden throughout the year. A winding pathway of locally sourced bluestone was crafted to invite exploration while incorporating a serenity of sound and wonderment to native wildlife with a water feature designed to resemble a natural stream. Sloping sites can be a primary challenge, and we addressed this scenario with tiered landscaping and retaining walls that create depth and value while forming inviting areas for rest and entertainment. We cannot list the quality materials used, as it is important to deliver high-quality, sustainable materials that consider the longevity of the build while also minimizing environmental impact. The outcome was a beautiful marriage of form and function that satisfied our clients' want for beauty and wonder. The Secret Garden is a designed space the 'working landscape' of Chappaqua will not soon forget. The result of thoughtful engagement and attention to detail, the outcomes of Pierce Hill Design are illustrative of how vision and creation can seamlessly collaborate to build a place that considers beauty and reflection amidst the demands of living.
