Hot color containers

Summary: Hot Color Containers by Pierce Hill Design, Ltd. At Pierce Hill Design, Ltd., we advocate for every landscape to be a beautiful representation of the inherent beauty of nature and the Hot Color Containers embodies that philosophy. Set in the scenic neighborhoods of Westchester County, this changed a client's backyard into a glorious display of vibrant color and personality. We utilized large and custom-sized containers, contributed by the client, to transplant the varieties of annuals and perennials agreed upon that were appropriate for the climate zone. Providing color were the bold hues of hot to coolthe process evoked images of the colors of hot molten lava in burnt reds, fiery orange and blazing yellow. To support the plants and assure their health, we coupled the appropriate healthy plants, rich soil, and quality containers. It's worth noting we chose quality, lightweight fiberglass planter containers for its finishes and longevity, being able to stand stronger against solar rays, moisture, and climate. Limited site space was one of the major challenges the designer had to contend with; however, the designer rose to the occasion/dreamt up a creative way of arranging each container with differing heights and angle placements, creating depth and movement throughout the landscape. This thoughtful approach invited guests into a design approach and challenged the designer with unified planting space. That barrier was overcome by grouping planters together sometimes and placing one solitary planter in another space for interest. To provide added visual interest we used decorative stone and mulch to unify the planting continued, and provided a clean backdrop of color for our bright, cheery blooms. A careful choice of plant varieties provided cohesive and seasonal color throughout spring, summer, and fallall of which could appreciated as it changed throughout the seasons. The stretch of properties between residential homes became a stunning signature to our designs and their home. Lastly, our labor resulted in a total transformation that beyond expectations gave the homeowner pride in their gorgeous space in our concern to create quality, artistic, natural spaces in the garden as an extension of their home.
