About This Project

Memorial by L3 Designs L3 Designs is excited to share our 'Memorial' landscaping a beautiful tribute to beauty and remembrance. Located in the heart of Houston, this was designed to be a peaceful retreat that could honor a beloved memory in a nice environment. This had a very involved layout with a combination of native plants, seasonal flowers, and hardscape elements. Using quality materials like natural stone pathways, custom wood benches, and decorative boulders, we created an inviting space that fit seamlessly into the landscape. One of the challenges the site posed was quite a varied topography. Our team, with the careful planning and execution of a good drainage planning scheme and yard installation, turned this challenge into an aesthetic appeal and longevity benefit for the plants. We also used drought-tolerant plants to keep our garden alive for years with some or no water with some or no maintenance. In the end, the design exceeded the customers' expectations in form and function of color, texture, and design elements. The water feature is one of the main attractions. The water gently falls down the feature adding a musical element, as visitors make their way around and sit close to the stone area and eventually can rest. As with our other s, this proceeded on time which ultimately gave us time in the end to be intentional and detailed with every single aspect of the .
