Greater Heights - L3 Designs Located in the heart of Houston, L3 Designs was asked to transform a basic residential landscape into an outdoor oasis with the Greater Heights . Spanning areas such as Alief, Katy, and the West University Area, L3 Designs expertise is found in creating outdoor living areas that blend beauty with natural living. This included many features, including a beautiful custom stone patio made from locally-sourced flagstone that melds with a colorful native Texas plant garden. The design was focused on sustainability with a wide range of drought-resistant plants that thrive in the local ecosystem while not consuming water. The approach was to seamlessly blend a winding path made of decorative gravels and soft lush separate areas for the homeowner and the guests. One major hurdle for the was the varying topographies of the site. L3 Designs overcame these challenges through the use of terracing to create level entertaining spaces while providing proper drainage. The balancing act between function and beauty is rewarding to see. To add to the ambiance of the garden, L3 Designs installed outdoor lighting to illuminate pathways while accentuating the delicacies of the plants and hardscapes. Finishing touches included a water feature to soothe while attracting the eye. In closing, the Greater Heights was stunning, and the clients were astonished with their colorful outdoor sanctuary that extends their lifestyle and value to the property! With every , L3 Designs displays the attention to detail and quality craftsmanship that have established them as one of the best in landscaping throughout Houston and their adjacent communities!
