About This Project

Chicago Spring Annuals 2015 Realized by Brent Riechers Landscape (BRL LANDesign), the Chicago Spring Annuals 2015 was a colorful and playful revision to the landscape at multiple residences in Chicago, Evanston and Lincolnwood. This was an ambitious to boost curb appeal with a seasonal palette of annuals that would pack a punch of color and beauty in the springtime. A selection of beautiful, colorful annuals such as deep purple petunias and bright yellow marigolds and lobelias were chosen specifically for this to show the history of plants that will grow well in the area and create a visual impact. The soil was prepared by our team using the best organic compost to give the plants the most sustainable growth. The first hurdle was the unpredictable Chicago weather, that can always pose a risk of late frosts. Our team took measures to prevent this from happening, such as using temporary coverings and planting at staggered times. Not only did this precaution help in protecting these flowers, but through our initiative, it also symbolised our pursuit for perfection. We also incorporated ornamental edging and natural stone paths with naturalness to help provide structure in the landscape and accessibility and flow between the gardens beyond the annuals. By sourcing materials locally, we simultaneously supported the community and guaranteed the durability and harmonious blending of the materials into the environment. When all was said and done, the was a stunning splash of color and texture enjoyed by homeowners and passerbys alike. In the finely manicured gardens, BRL LANDesign demonstrated its commitment to quality workmanship, attention to fine detail, and client satisfaction. The Chicago Spring Annuals 2015 not only beautified the neighborhoods but has also helped us establish ourselves as a premier Chicago landscape service.
