Private Urban Landscape by In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes Located in the heart of Seattle, the Private Urban Landscape demonstrates our desire to create sustainable and beautiful outdoor spaces. In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes was excited the challenge of transforming a small urban yard into a lively oasis that would blend into its surrounding landscape. The used a mix of native plantings and drought-tolerant grasses, as well as a stunning natural stone pathway that used locally-sourced materials. Our team created terraced garden beds that added visual interest, while addressing site drainage, on a slope. We also used permeable pavers to help manage stormwater runoff, which compliments our commitment to sustainability and earthly responsibility; we created a functional and beautiful urban landscape. The salient features include a peaceful seating area nestled in the perspectives of tropical greens and a built-on-the-spot trellis made from wood adorned with climbing vines to provide shade and relaxing atmosphere. The landscape embodies our attention to detail, which helps to not just deliver upon our client’s vision, but to thrive with relatively little maintenance. The end result is a stunning urban retreat that connects our client to nature in their everyday living space; this in turn contributes to the splash of overall visual appeal in their neighborhood. Not only does this represent our quality craftsmanship, it highlights our ability to create sustainable landscapes that thrive in the climate of the Pacific Northwest. With completed experiences from Alderwood Manor to Bellevue, In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes is on its way to redefining urban living, one garden experience at a time.
