Summary: Water Features from In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes is excited to present their , 'Water Features', where nature and art come together, offering clients beautiful and serene outdoor spaces. Serving the diverse communities of Alderwood Manor, Ballard, Bothell, and beyond, we took this on with a focus on beauty and sustainability. We developed a lovely water feature on site that included a tiered waterfall, koi pond, and a beautiful meandering stream, using stone from local quarries and other eco-friendly materials in order to minimize environmental impacts. The waterfall, expertly integrated into the existing landscape, not only offered a stunning focal point, but also increased biodiversity by attracting local wildlife, allowing the creation of an ecosystem. Throughout the course of the , we were tasked with the challenge of the varying topography of the client's property. Our landscape architect administers provided clients with thorough solutions that harmonized the water features with the land, ameliorating drainage and ensuring a smooth flow. The overall experience produced striking visual results that fit perfectly within the existing beauty of the natural Pacific Northwest landscape. The end result of the actually exceeded the client’s expectations. The final product is a multitasking space that promotes relaxation and reflection. The soft sound of flowing water paired with beautiful existing native planting creates an inviting retreat to be enjoyed while bringing a continuation of the aesthetic and functional everyday use of the outdoor space themselves.
