WATERFALLS LONG ISLAND LANDSCAPE DESIGNS INC. Here at Long Island Landscape Designs Inc. we are experts at turning outside areas into beautiful havens. Featured in the beautiful community of Belle Terre, our newest -worthy , Waterfalls, is a true testament to quality and craftsmanship for the discerning homeowner. This was a vision of a waterfalls cascading over natural stone to create an oasis within the landscape incorporating tiered streams. Using those same kinds of granite boulders, along with some smooth river stones for visual contrast, our team patiently built each step to the waterfall so it would flow naturally and look good Here are a few challenges we came across during the execution of the waterfall, it was also to match and integrate with the existing topography covering the natural slope yet, maintaining the proper drainage and circulation of the water. Our landscape architects assessed each site and incorporated a drainage system that improved the waterfall's aesthetic and added to the garden's wellness. We surrounded the waterfall with luxurious foliageboth native plants that perform well in the region, but also a selection of perennials that will add interest throughout the year. We installed soft ambient lighting so the waterfall would glow at night for an extended show that can be viewed long after sunset. The end result is a peaceful retreat for our client to relax and be lulled by the sound of running water in an oasis of plant life and nature. The ambitious portfolio of works we undertook within the 'Waterfalls' brought the client’s vision to life beyond their wildest expectations, in a world of their own and really demonstrated that dedication to our jurisdiction.
