Colorful Garden in Atlanta, GA Tilting Windmill Landscape Design is excited to present you with our 'Colorful Garden' located in Atlanta, GA. Designed to be an exceptional outdoor space that seamlessly blends with its lush Southern landscape, our serves as a visual delight and tranquil escape. This colorful garden combines native plants such as azaleas, hydrangeas, and an assortment of cheerful daylilies to ensure year-round color and local pollinators. In addition to the plant palette, we also introduced a variety of hardscaping elements, including natural stone walkways and decorative gravel, to make it not only accessible, but also visually inviting. Perhaps one of the more difficult design challenges we faced during the was the slope of the property. Our knowledgeable team utilized a tiered planting approach to develop visual appeal while maintaining proper drainage and soil retention. This approach allowed for a distinctive design expression and added depth to the garden while also addressing the topographical concerns of the overall backyard landscape. Additionally, to address the beautiful plantings, we selected high-quality materials, including reclaimed wood for raised garden beds and locally sourced stone for the edging. These sustainable materials were chosen to withstand the elements for years to come while also melding in with the architecture of the house and the existing landscape. The result is a colorful garden that delights the senses and invites the client and their guests to enjoy the beauty of nature outside their doorstep.
