About This Project

TGTV by Tilting Windmill Landscape Design Located in the center of Atlanta, the HGTV by Tilting Windmill Landscape Design showcases a balance between aesthetics and functionality based on the unique needs of our clientele. We serve several different communities including Avondale Estates, Buckhead, and Sandy Springs with the creation of an outdoor oasis that boosts not just the curb appeal but also provides a space of retreat for the homeowners and their family. The design includes an intricate pattern of native plantings, both perennials, ornamental grasses, and evergreen shrubs that thrive with a native climate and also promote biodiversity. One of the more enduring features of this design is the custom bluestone pathway sourced locally, which traverses through the lush landscape while allowing visitors to explore the garden space designed for welcome and comfort. One of the most significant challenges of the was a sloped area. Overcome by innovative use of grading, our team was able to create tiered planting beds which stabilize soil and also create visual interest. Further to the beauty of the landscape is the added installation of an irrigation system, which will extend the life of the landscape and will conserve (at a minimum, waste less) water, while presenting a beautiful outdoor experience. The net result is a lovely landscape that transformed an outdoor traditional center, into a function, eco-friendly retreat; and our clients are elated with the process and the outcome. They love the blend and integration of hardscapes within the aesthetic and visual landscape.
