The featured a carefully planned layout with a variety of native plants, ornamental grasses, and colorful flowering shrubs carefully selected for their tolerability to the area climate, as well as providing visual appeal year-round. The centerpiece of the was a stunning central water feature which featured a koi pond and flowing waterfall below that ensured that guests invited tranquility and calm. LandStudio also included a seamless outdoor living space that featured a large patio area using quality natural stone pavers, providing durability and beauty while entertaining. Custom seating areas and fire pits were also incorporated into the layout to optimize enjoyment of the surrounding lush landscape. The outdoor kitchen was also seamlessly incropped allowing for entertaining to combine delicious food and awe inspiring landscape all in one. One of most challenging aspects of the was the existing drainage problems that needed to be resolved to ensure the landscape met the client’s expectations retaining its integrity. To address unauthorized drainage in various areas and potential erosion of landscape due to water, our team installed effective drainage system solutions which allowed the yard to retain its overall aesthetic. Additionally, the property also features sloped terrain, requiring innovative grading kit solutions to create level areas where plants, decorations and furnishings could be placed. The end result was a beautiful, functioning yard that both captured and exceeded the client’s vision. The San Juan Residence is now a beautiful retreat that is well suited for family gatherings or peaceful evenings outside.
