About This Project

Beachmont - A Serene Escape by Seedlings Landscape Design Build Situated in the West Lake Hills, Beachmont, created by Seedlings Landscape Design Build, changed the typical domestic yard into an atmospheric sanctuary inspired by coastal landscapes. We focused on to create a space that pays homage to the beauty of the site while also being a relaxing and entertaining space. Beachmont contains many amenities, including a custom concrete patio designed by our team to serve as a durable and attractive surface for outdoor gatherings, and which was built of locally sourced flagstone. We included a lovely water feature with a fountain and cascading water that added a great sound and attracted wildlife to the site and formed its own ecosystem in the client's backyardmuch to the delight of the family's childrenand engages the amenities with the surrounding beauty of West Lake Hills. One of the challenges of the was the steep slope. Our landscaping team designed terraced garden beds that solved the erosion problem, while allowing for diversity of plantings to include native Texas wildflowers and drought-tolerant shrubs and other vegetation that emerges and survives in the course of Austin's climate. A pathway made of permeable pavers creates drainage as the surface and reduces erosion in forging paths through the various levels of the garden beds. Another amenity included the outdoor lighting installed that highlights the paths as well as settings in the landscape, which is remarkable after dark when activated. As a whole, all of the design elements serve as a spectacular outdoor setting, intertwined with the client's plan to make the backyard tailored to the beauty of the location and in-keeping with nature as much as possible. Seedlings Landscape Design Build is honored to work in the communities of Austin, Barton Creek, Bear Creek, Bee Cave, Lost Creek, Manchaca, Rollingwood, Sunset Valley, and West Lake Hills and produce quality, purposeful s, such as Beachmont, that elevate the outdoor living experience.
