Acuarela Seedlings Landscape Design Build has completed Acuarela, an amazing showcase of the artistry and fine craftsmanship that our team brings to every landscape . Located in the scenic West Lake Hills area, this property is a beautiful balance of nature and functional outdoor living areasthe perfect retreat space for our clients. The Acuarela landscape uses a colorful array of native plant material. These plants were chosen for their suitability to the regional climate and also because they provide year-round interest. The design includes many combinations of textures and colors, ranging from the various lush greens of the ornamental grasses to the variety of native wildflowers in bloom. A meandering stone path, made from locally sourced limestone allows visitors to wander through the garden-exploring the landscape and enjoying a sense of peace. A highlight of the is the custom-built water feature designed to mimic the gentle flow of the creek that sits nearby. The water feature serves to provide relaxing visuals and sounds, while attracting wildlife, enhancing the ecological balance of the landscape. Additionally, sustainably sourced materials were very important to the embrace of this , as we used reclaimed wood and locally sourced materials for the garden benches and planters, while keeping the surrounding environment in mind. Our experienced team paid close attention to existing site conditions, from uneven terrain, to existing root systems and expertly and intentionally integrated the hardscape and softscape of the landscape. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship ensured that each element was designed and installed, down to the precision in the stonework and placement of each plant. Now that the Acuarela is complete, it has transformed into a vibrant oasis well beyond our client's expectations. They were thrilled to see their vision unfold with an outdoor environment that enhances their home, while inviting and entertaining family and friends to enjoy the natural surroundings.
