Wimberly Lane Seedlings Landscape Design Build is excited to share our latest at Wimberly Lane, an inspiring landscape renovation that stretched the definition of outdoor living for our clients in the beautiful community of West Lake Hills. This large-scale landscaping was thoughtfully executed with an eye for detail, and it illustrates our commitment to quality and innovation in every detail. The groundwork for this started with a thorough site analysis, which captured the particulars of the unique topography and microclimates of the property. To begin, the constraints of a steeply sloped yard were perceived as a challenge; we used it as an opportunity to develop a generous, well-informed design. By being creative and adding a series of terraced garden bedsnot only does it create an incredible physical aesthetic, but it also manages soil erosion and drainage to establish a sustainable landscape for many seasons to come. Not an uncommon practice in landscape design, we used premium materials for this landscape renovation: locally sourced stone for the retention walls, and plants best suited for our great State of Texas. The result, a beautiful combination of form and function, to co-mingle premium elements sourced for the , was extraordinary and pleasing. The center of interest is a beautiful stone pathway that winds through vibrant perennial gardens journeying to a new outdoor living space that includes a handcrafted, stained wooden pergola. The shaded arbor is covered with climbing vines; a perfect place to relax or have a family gathering! The included an energy-saving, and efficient, irrigation system that will help sustain all the lush greenery through the hot, Texas summers, while saving water in the process. The final landscape exceeded everyone's expectations. The transformation from the previous landscape to the newly created retreat was beautiful and interrelated to the natural features on the lot. This reflects a professional, quality landscape that provides a retreat for the clients, and further demonstrates the professionalism and skill our team offers.
