Deck + Entertainment Space by Iris Design Associates 'Deck + Entertainment Space' is the latest presented by Iris Design Associates, and it is an amazing addition to a quaint home in Warrenton, Virginia. This was designed with both function and aesthetic in mind to provide an outdoor escape from bustling life with family and friends. The design features a spacious multi-level deck built from high-quality, weather-resistant composite materials designed to last with minimal upkeep. The warm and rich tones of the decking marry beautifully with the current landscape, enhancing the home's warmth and natural beauty. To complete the deck, we designed an exceptional custom-paved pergola, which after once placed among climbing vines allows for just the right amount of shade needed to host a summer gathering. Iris Design Associates provided numerous creative solutions to complete the deck and entertainment space, including an unfinished slope that posed significant challenges to our initial ideas. By utilizing terraced planting beds and retaining walls, they maximized usable space and created an incredible visual appeal. Using some native plants selected by our team, we filled landscaped beds which would adorn the area and naturally acclimate to Forsyth County's weather variances. This entertainment space is complete with a built-in grill as well as fire pit for family barbecues or intimate evenings with family or friends. When evening gathering fireside, soft outdoor lighting is used to accentuate the entertainment area into a cozy space. On completion of this , the client was overjoyed with their new outdoor living space. The custom deck and entertainment space serve as a seamless continuation of their habitat with great function to entertain, eat, and enjoy nature. Iris Design Associates felt privileged to contribute to the transformation of their landscape into a beautiful space to live and enjoy.
