Patio Renovation by Iris Design Associates Iris Design Associates is excited to highlight the completion of a gorgeous patio renovation which took a previously seldom-used outdoor area and transformed it into a beautiful and functional retreat. We are proud to serve the wonderful communities of Bealeton, Brandy Station, and beyond, and ensured that this was catered towards the particular needs of our clients in Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. The patio renovation features beautiful natural stone pavers that are durable and beautiful, which unifies the patio area to the adjacent landscape. Also included was a custom seating area that was built using premium cedar wood for a warm and inviting feeling when it's time to get together. We also integrated ambient lighting to create a later night ambiance to create a perfect outdoor venue well into the evening. One of the largest obstacles we faced was leveling the uneven terrain and ensuring proper drainage to prevent pooling water after rains. Our experienced team navigated these challenges by installing a drainage system to maximize the longevity and functionality of the patio. The outcome is stunning space that represents both beauty and functionality which includes planted trees for privacy and to create beauty within the overall design. Our clients were ecstatic the total transformation and commented that the renovated patio fits their lifestyle and the surrounding environment.
